In an exciting showdown at the Haynes Pavilion on February 7th, 2026, the Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious against the University of Wyoming Pokes with a final score of 4-1.

Despite the Pokes outshooting the Bobcats 55 to 35, the Bobcats showcased their defensive prowess by limiting their opponents to just one goal. The Pokes’ powerplay was unsuccessful 3 times, whereas the Bobcats also failed to capitalize on their 4 powerplay opportunities.

In the net, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put up an exceptional performance with 54 saves out of 55 shots. On the other hand, Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash managed to save 31 out of 35 shots.

The lone goal for the Pokes came from #2 Zoey Brown. Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts also made her mark on the scoreboard with a goal.
