The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice last night, defeating the University of Wyoming Pokes 4-1 at the Haynes Pavilion.

The Pokes, despite having 55 shots, only managed to score once, thanks to the stellar performance of Bobcats’ goalie Reese McConnell who made an impressive 54 saves. On the other hand, the Bobcats were more efficient with their 35 shots, scoring four times.

Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash, despite facing fewer shots, only managed to make 31 saves, allowing the Bobcats to secure their win.

Both teams struggled with their powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4.

The Pokes’ only goal came from #2 Zoey Brown, while the Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts also netted one.

The Bobcats will look to maintain their winning momentum in their next game, which is a home game against the University of Utah on Friday, February 20th, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink.
