Last night, the Montana State University Bobcats showcased their superior skills and tactics in a thrilling game against the University of Wyoming Pokes. Despite being outshot, the Bobcats managed to secure a decisive 4-1 victory at the Haynes Pavilion.

Both teams had their fair share of powerplay opportunities, but neither was able to convert. The Pokes had 3 chances while the Bobcats had 4, but the game remained free from powerplay goals.

The Pokes, despite their loss, put up a strong fight. Their goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, faced 35 shots, making 31 saves. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put on a stellar performance with 54 saves out of 55 shots.

Scoring for the Pokes was Zoey Brown, who managed to sneak one past McConnell. However, the Bobcats answered back with Nicola Roberts finding the back of the net, contributing to the Bobcats’ total of 4 goals.
