The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an impressive performance on home ice, defeating the University of Wyoming Pokes with a final score of 4-1. The game, held at Haynes Pavilion on February 7, 2026, saw the Bobcats managing to outscore the Pokes despite fewer shot attempts.

The Pokes attempted a total of 55 shots, while the Bobcats had 35. However, the Bobcats’ superior defense, led by goalie Reese McConnell, proved to be the game-changer.
