In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes at the Haynes Pavilion. The game, which took place on February 7th, 2026, saw the Bobcats dominate despite facing 55 shots from the Pokes.
The Bobcats, however, managed to make their 35 shots count, securing four goals against the Pokes. Both teams struggled with their powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats going 0/4.
The Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, faced a barrage of shots from the Bobcats, saving 31 out of 35 attempts. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, put on a stellar performance, saving 54 out of 55 shots.
The Pokes’ only goal came from #2 Zoey Brown. For the Bobcats, #26 Nicola Roberts managed to find the back of the net, contributing to their decisive victory.
