The Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Utah Utes on the ice at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink this past Sunday. Despite a valiant effort, the Bobcats were defeated with a final score of 5-2.

The match was a thrilling display of skill and determination, with the Utes taking 38 shots and the Bobcats not far behind with 31. However, the Utes managed to find the back of the net more often, leading to their victory.

In terms of powerplay, the Bobcats had two opportunities but were unable to capitalize on either. The Utes, on the other hand, did not have any powerplay opportunities during the game.

The goalies for both teams put up a commendable performance. Utes’ Miranda De Antunano faced 31 shots, saving 29 of them. On the other end, Bobcats’ Reese McConnell was kept busy with 38 shots, making 33 saves.

The Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, was a standout player in the game, scoring two goals. The Bobcats’ #22, Rylan Lorentz, managed to score one goal for his team.
