The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the University of Utah Utes yesterday, with a final score of 5-2. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado and saw an intense battle between these two fierce competitors.

The Utes came out strong, totaling 38 shots against the Bobcats who managed 31 shots. Despite their best efforts, the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities, while the Utes didn’t have any.

In the goalie matchup, the Utes’ Miranda De Antunano put on an impressive performance with 29 saves out of 31 shots. On the other side, the Bobcats’ Reese McConnell managed to make 33 saves out of 38 shots.

The Utes’ forward, #12 Morgan Lavalley, was the star of the game, scoring two critical goals. For the Bobcats, #18 Elly Aldrich managed to find the back of the net once.
