In a spirited contest, the Montana State University Bobcats succumbed to the University of Utah Utes, with a final score of 5-2. The match took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink on February 20, 2026.
The Utes managed to outshoot the Bobcats with 38 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 31. Despite the Bobcats having two powerplay opportunities, they were unable to capitalize on them, while the Utes did not have any powerplay chances.
