Despite the Bobcats’ relentless efforts, the Utes managed to maintain their defensive stronghold throughout the match.

Both teams showed remarkable offensive skills, with the Utes making 38 shots and the Bobcats close behind with 31. However, the Utes’ defensive prowess shone through, as their goalie, Miranda De Antunano, made an impressive 29 saves out of 31 shots. On the other side of the rink, Bobcats’ Reese McConnell also put up a commendable performance with 33 saves out of 38 shots.

The powerplay was a different story, as the Utes didn’t get a single opportunity, while the Bobcats had two, but were unable to capitalize on them.
