The Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Utah Utes in a challenging game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 5-2 loss for the Bobcats.
The Utes, with their aggressive offense, managed to get 38 shots on goal, while the Bobcats put up a good fight with 31 shots. Despite the Bobcats’ efforts, the Utes’ goalie, Miranda De Antunano, held strong, saving 29 of the 31 shots. On the Bobcats side, Reese Mcconnell made a commendable effort, saving 33 of the 38 shots.
In the powerplay, the Bobcats had two opportunities but were unable to capitalize on either. The Utes did not have any powerplay opportunities in this game.
The Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, was the star of the game, scoring two goals. For the Bobcats, #22 Rylan Lorentz managed to net one goal.
