In a hard-fought match at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink on February 20, 2026, the Montana State University Bobcats fell to the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2.

The Utes outshot the Bobcats with 38 shots on goal compared to the Bobcats’ 31. Despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, their powerplay was unsuccessful in their two attempts, while the Utes didn’t have any powerplay opportunities during the game.
