The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging opponent in the University of Utah Utes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Despite a spirited performance, the Bobcats fell to the Utes with a final score of 5-2 on February 20, 2026.
The Utes dominated the game offensively, piling up 38 shots against the Bobcats’ 31. The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put up a valiant effort, saving 33 shots. On the other side, Utes’ goalie Miranda De Antunano was equally impressive, saving 29 shots.

The Bobcats will be looking to bounce back in their next game. They will be playing at home against Grand Canyon University on Saturday, February 21, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The team will surely be working hard to improve their game and secure a win for their fans.
