The Utes outshot the Bobcats 38-31, with Utes’ #12 Morgan Lavalley leading the charge with 2 goals. Despite the loss, the Bobcats put up a good fight. Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, made an impressive 33 saves against the Utes’ 38 shots. On the other hand, the Utes’ goalie, Miranda De Antunano, managed to save 29 out of the 31 shots made by the Bobcats.

The Bobcats’ #18 Elly Aldrich scored one of the two goals for the team. Unfortunately, the Bobcats were unable to convert either of their two powerplay opportunities into goals, while the Utes didn’t get a chance to show off their powerplay skills in this game.
