In a fiercely contested game, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the University of Utah Utes on Sunday, February 20th. The final score was Utes 5, Bobcats 2. The game was held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.

The Utes were relentless, firing off 38 shots against the Bobcats’ 31. Despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, they were unable to convert on their two powerplays, while the Utes did not have any opportunities.

In the goal, the Utes’ Miranda De Antunano was on top form, saving 29 out of the 31 shots. On the other side, the Bobcats’ Reese Mcconnell made 33 saves out of 38 shots.

The Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, was a standout player of the game, scoring two impressive goals. For the Bobcats, #22 Rylan Lorentz managed to find the back of the net once.

Looking forward, the Bobcats will be back on home ice against Grand Canyon University on Saturday, February 21st at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Despite this setback, the team remains focused and determined to bounce back in their upcoming game.
