The Montana State University Bobcats were defeated by the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2 in a thrilling game held at CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, Colorado. The matchup, which took place on February 20th, saw the Utes dominate the ice with a total of 38 shots against the Bobcats’ 31.
Despite the Bobcats’ powerplay advantage of 2 against the Utes’ 0, the team could not capitalize on these opportunities. The Utes’ goalie, Miranda De Antunano, held strong with 29 saves out of 31 shots, while Bobcats’ Reese McConnell managed 33 saves out of 38 shots.
