Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed signs of promise. #18 Elly Aldrich scored a goal, showcasing her offensive prowess. The Bobcats also had two powerplay opportunities but were unable to capitalize on them.
The Utes, on the other hand, had no powerplay opportunities but managed to maintain a strong offensive front. #12 Morgan Lavalley was a standout player for the Utes, scoring two goals and contributing significantly to their victory.
