The Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes in a challenging match that ended in a 7-1 victory for the Antelopes. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink on February 21, 2026.
The Antelopes came out strong, dominating the ice with a total of 64 shots on goal, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Despite the imbalance in shots, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, put on a commendable performance with 57 saves. On the other side of the rink, Annika Olson, the Antelopes’ goalie, had a quieter night with 18 saves.
The Bobcats struggled to find the back of the net, with their only goal scored by Marin Snyder. On the other hand, the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs proved to be a force to be reckoned with, scoring a hat trick.
In terms of powerplay, the Antelopes were 1 for 3, while the Bobcats were unable to convert any of their two opportunities.
