Last night’s game was a tough one for the Montana State University Bobcats as they faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The Antelopes took the win with a 7-1 final score at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking an impressive 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their powerplay was also more effective, with a 1/3 success rate compared to the Bobcats’ 0/2.

Goalkeeping was a significant factor in the game. Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, made some crucial saves, facing 19 shots and saving 18 of them. On the other hand, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, had a challenging night with 64 shots coming her way and managing to save 57.

The star of the match was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. The Bobcats’ lone goal came from #20, Marin Snyder.

The Bobcats will be looking to regroup and come back stronger in their next game. Despite the disappointing result, the team showed moments of promise that they will hope to build on moving forward.
