The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The game, held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, ended with a disappointing 7-1 loss for the Bobcats.
The Antelopes, showing their offensive power, took a total of 64 shots during the game. In contrast, the Bobcats managed to take 19 shots. Despite the disparity in shots, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, put up a valiant effort, saving 57 out of the 64 shots.
On the other side of the ice, Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a comparatively quieter evening, facing 19 shots and saving 18.
In terms of powerplay, the Antelopes were 1/3, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities, going 0/2.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive hat trick. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to find the back of the net once, scoring the team’s only goal of the game.
