The Montana State University Bobcats faced a harsh defeat at the hands of the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The game, held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, ended with a score of 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

Despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, the Antelopes dominated the game, launching 64 shots against the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also capitalized on their powerplay opportunities, scoring 1 out of 3 times, while the Bobcats were unable to convert any of their 2 powerplays into goals.
