The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes this past Sunday, with a final score of 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.

The Antelopes came out strong, dominating the ice with a whopping total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. This disparity in offensive pressure undoubtedly contributed to the final score. The Antelopes’ powerplay was 1/3, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.

In the net, the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, faced 19 shots and made 18 saves. On the other side, Emma Carlson of the Bobcats had a busy night, facing 64 shots and making 57 saves.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who netted three goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to put one on the board, scoring the team’s only goal of the game.

Despite the tough loss, the Bobcats showed resilience and will be looking to bounce back in their upcoming games. Stay tuned for more updates on the MSU Bobcats’ season.
