The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes last night at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.
The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, with a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their powerplay was also more effective, scoring once in three attempts, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.
The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a stellar performance with 18 saves out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder was the lone scorer.
