It was a challenging night for the Montana State University Bobcats as they faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Despite their best efforts, the Bobcats fell to the Antelopes with a final score of 7-1.

The Antelopes dominated the game, with a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes’ powerplay was 1/3, while the Bobcats struggled to find their footing with a powerplay of 0/2.

In the net, Antelopes’ goalie Annika Olson had an impressive night with 18 saves out of 19 shots. On the other hand, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64.

The star of the night was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who managed to net an impressive hat trick. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder scored the lone goal.

Despite the tough loss, the Bobcats will be looking to bounce back in their next game. They’ll be studying this game closely to identify areas for improvement and come back stronger.
