The Pokes managed to fire 55 shots, in comparison to the Bobcats’ 35. However, the difference-maker was undoubtedly the goaltending. Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash saved 31 shots out of 35, while Bobcats’ goalie Reese Mcconnell put on a stellar performance, saving 54 shots out of 55.
On the powerplay front, both teams struggled to capitalize with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats going 0/4. However, the Bobcats managed to convert their opportunities with more efficiency, leading to their victory.
