In last night’s match-up, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging opponent in the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The game, held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, ended with a disappointing 7-1 loss for the Bobcats.

The Antelopes dominated the game with a whopping 64 shots on goal, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, managed to save 57 of those shots. However, the Antelopes’ offensive line was relentless, and their powerplay performance of 1/3 showed their strength on the ice.

On the other side of the rink, the Bobcats’ powerplay came up short, with 0/2 successful attempts. Despite the tough game, the Bobcats’ Marin Snyder, #20, managed to score a goal, showing a glimmer of hope in a challenging match.

The Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, was the star of the game, scoring three goals. The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a strong performance as well, with 18 saves out of 19 shots.

The Bobcats will be looking to bounce back in their next game, using this loss as a learning experience and an opportunity to improve. Despite the setback, the team’s spirit remains unbroken and they are ready to face their next challenge.
