The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes in last night’s game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disheartening 7-1, favoring the Antelopes.
The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, with a staggering 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also capitalized on their powerplay opportunities, scoring 1 out of 3, while the Bobcats struggled to find the back of the net during their 2 powerplays.
Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, demonstrated a stellar performance with 18 saves out of 19 shots. On the other end of the ice, Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64 shots.
The star of the game was undoubtedly Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who netted an impressive hat trick. The lone goal for the Bobcats came from #20 Marin Snyder.
