The Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough defeat at the hands of the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, with a final score of 7-1. The game took place on February 21, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, with an impressive total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also had a successful powerplay, scoring once out of three opportunities, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on their two powerplay chances.

In the goal, the Antelopes’ Annika Olson had a stellar performance, saving 18 out of 19 shots. Despite the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson’s commendable effort, saving 57 out of 64 shots, the Antelopes’ offensive onslaught was too much to handle.

A standout player of the game was the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive hat trick. The Bobcats’ lone goal came from Marin Snyder.

Despite the disappointing outcome, the Bobcats will use this as a learning opportunity and look to bounce back in their next game. Stay tuned for more updates on the Montana State University Bobcats’ season.
