The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging match last night against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score saw the Antelopes triumphing with 7 goals to the Bobcats’ 1.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a staggering 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Despite the disparity, Bobcats goalie Emma Carlson made a commendable effort, saving 57 of the shots. On the other side of the ice, Antelopes goalie Annika Olson was nearly perfect, saving 18 out of 19 shots.

The Antelopes’ powerplay efficiency was also superior, with a success rate of 1 out of 3. Unfortunately, the Bobcats couldn’t convert any of their two powerplay opportunities into goals.

The star of the night was undoubtedly Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who netted an impressive hat trick. The Bobcats’ lone goal came from #20 Marin Snyder.

While it was a tough night for the Bobcats, every game is a learning opportunity. The team will no doubt be analyzing this match and preparing for their next challenge. Stay tuned for more updates on the Bobcats’ journey this season.
