The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game last night against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Despite a valiant effort, the Bobcats ultimately fell to the Antelopes with a final score of 7-1.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes’ powerplay was successful 1 out of 3 times, while the Bobcats struggled to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities, going 0 for 2.

In the net, the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a strong game with 18 saves on 19 shots. On the other side, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson faced an onslaught of shots, making 57 saves on 64 shots.

Offensively, the Antelopes were led by #12 Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive 3 goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to net the lone goal.
