The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The Antelopes dominated the game, ending with a decisive 7-1 victory over the Bobcats.

The Antelopes came out strong, putting the Bobcats on the defensive from the outset. They fired an impressive 64 shots on goal, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes’ power play was also more effective, scoring on one of their three attempts, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on either of their two power play opportunities.

The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had an excellent game with 18 saves on 19 shots. On the other hand, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves on 64 attempts.

Jennae Szucs of the Antelopes was the standout player of the game, scoring three goals. Marin Snyder managed to put the Bobcats on the scoreboard with a single goal.

Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed spirit and tenacity. They will undoubtedly take this experience and use it to improve in their upcoming games. The team and fans look forward to their next opportunity to show their mettle on the ice.
