Yesterday evening, the Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also had a successful powerplay, scoring once in their three attempts, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplays.

The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a stellar performance, saving 18 out of 19 shots. On the other hand, Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, faced a barrage of shots and managed to save 57 out of 64.

Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs was the star of the game, scoring three goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to get one past Olson, scoring the only goal for the Bobcats.
