The Montana State University Bobcats have once again proven their prowess on the ice, clinching a decisive 4-1 victory against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The thrilling match took place on February 7th, 2026, at the Haynes Pavilion, with both teams showcasing their exceptional skills and competitiveness.

Despite the Pokes taking more shots at the goal (55), the Bobcats’ defense held strong, limiting them to just one goal. The Bobcats, on the other hand, made the most of their 35 shots, scoring four impressive goals. The powerplay for both teams didn’t yield any results, with the Pokes 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4.

The Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, managed to save 31 of the 35 shots, while the Bobcats’ Reese Mcconnell put on an extraordinary performance, saving 54 out of 55 shots.

The lone goal for the Pokes was netted by #2 Zoey Brown, while Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts also scored a goal.
