The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes last night at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.

The Antelopes dominated the game, firing a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ defense struggled to keep up with the Antelopes’ relentless offense. On the powerplay, the Antelopes were successful in one out of three attempts, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.

In the net, the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a stellar performance with 18 saves out of 19 shots. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, faced a barrage of shots, saving 57 out of 64.

The star player of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. Despite the tough night, the Bobcats’ #20 Marin Snyder managed to get on the scoreboard with a single goal.

Despite the loss, the Bobcats will take this as a learning experience and look forward to bouncing back in their next game.
