Last night, the Montana State University Bobcats celebrated a decisive 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The game took place at the Haynes Pavilion and was an absolute treat for all hockey enthusiasts.
The match was an intense one, with the Pokes taking an impressive 55 shots, while the Bobcats took 35. However, the Bobcats proved to be more accurate and efficient, scoring four times. Despite the Pokes’ powerplay being 0/3 and the Bobcats’ being 0/4, the Bobcats managed to maintain their lead throughout the game.
Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put on a stellar performance with 54 saves out of 55 shots, playing a crucial role in the team’s victory. On the other hand, Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, saved 31 out of 35 shots.
The goal scorers of the night were Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown and Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts, both contributing one goal each to their respective teams.
