The Montana State University Bobcats secured a solid 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes at Haynes Pavilion on February 7th, 2026. Despite the Pokes outshooting the Bobcats 55 to 35, the Bobcats’ defense held strong, resulting in a decisive win.
The Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, faced 35 shots and made 31 saves, while the Bobcats’ Reese McConnell faced a whopping 55 shots, making an impressive 54 saves. Both teams struggled with powerplay, with the Pokes going 0 for 3 and the Bobcats going 0 for 4.
The Pokes’ only goal came from #2 Zoey Brown, while the Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts also found the back of the net. The Bobcats’ additional three goals demonstrated their superior offensive play in this game.
