The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game last night against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, with a final score of 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, Colorado, where the Bobcats fought hard but were ultimately overcome by the Antelopes’ strong offense.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 64 shots against the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, made a commendable effort with 57 saves out of 64 shots. On the other side, the Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had an easier night with only 19 shots faced and 18 saves.

The Antelopes also outperformed the Bobcats in powerplays, with a success rate of 1/3 compared to the Bobcats’ 0/2. This clearly shows the Antelopes’ superior offensive play in this game.

Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs was the star player of the night, scoring a hat trick, while Bobcats’ #20 Marin Snyder managed to score the only goal for her team.
