The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging match against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The game ended with a disappointing 7-1 loss for the Bobcats.
The match, held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado, saw the Antelopes dominate the ice with a whopping 64 shots, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes managed to convert one of their three powerplays, while the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on any of their two opportunities.
The goalies for both teams had a busy night. Annika Olson of the Antelopes faced 19 shots and made 18 saves. On the other hand, Emma Carlson of the Bobcats had a tougher time with 64 shots coming her way, making 57 saves.
The star of the match was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. For the Bobcats, Marin Snyder was the lone scorer.
