Despite the Pokes taking more shots at the goal, the Bobcats displayed exceptional defensive skills, with their goalie Reese Mcconnell making an outstanding 54 saves out of 55 shots.
The Pokes, who had 55 shots in total, were unable to capitalize on their opportunities, with their powerplay failing to yield results on all three occasions. Their goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, made 31 saves out of 35 shots. Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown was the only player able to score a goal for her team.
On the other side, the Bobcats, with 35 shots, managed to outscore the Pokes. Their powerplay was also unsuccessful on all four attempts. Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts was among the goal scorers, contributing to the team’s victory.
Despite the difference in shot attempts, the Bobcats’ solid defense and the brilliant performance by their goalie, Reese Mcconnell, played a crucial role in securing the win.
