The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice in a thrilling game against the University of Wyoming Pokes, securing a 4-1 victory at the Haynes Pavilion.

Despite the Pokes outshooting the Bobcats 55 to 35, the Bobcats proved that quality trumps quantity when it comes to shots on goal. Bobcats’ goalie Reese McConnell put on a stunning performance, saving 54 out of 55 shots, a testament to his agility and sharp reflexes.

On the other hand, Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash managed to save 31 out of 35 shots, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Bobcats from scoring four times.

Both teams had their struggles with powerplays, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats slightly worse at 0/4. Despite this, the Bobcats managed to keep their lead intact.

The game saw Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts and Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown each netting a goal, adding to the intensity of the match.

After this resounding victory, the Bobcats are looking forward to their next game, a home match against the University of Utah on Friday, February 20, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Fans are eagerly awaiting another exhilarating performance from the Bobcats.
