The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging match against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Unfortunately, the Bobcats couldn’t keep up with the Antelopes’ relentless attack, resulting in a 7-1 loss.

The Antelopes dominated the game, taking a whopping 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Despite the disparity, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson put up a valiant effort, making 57 saves. On the other side of the rink, Antelopes’ goalie Annika Olson had a quieter night, facing only 19 shots and making 18 saves.

The Antelopes also had the edge in power plays, converting one of their three opportunities. The Bobcats, however, were unable to capitalize on their two power play chances.

The star of the night was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who netted a hat trick. The Bobcats’ sole goal was scored by #20, Marin Snyder.

Despite this setback, the Bobcats will regroup and prepare for their next match. Stay tuned for more updates and let’s continue to support our team!
