Last night at Haynes Pavilion, the Montana State University Bobcats proved their mettle in a thrilling game against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The final score was Bobcats 4, Pokes 1, marking a significant win for the Bobcats.

Despite the Pokes taking an impressive 55 shots, the Bobcats’ defense held strong, with goalie Reese McConnell making a whopping 54 saves. On the other side, Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash had a tough night, with 31 saves out of 35 shots.

In a game that saw both teams unable to capitalize on their powerplays, the Bobcats managed to maintain a strong offensive presence. Bobcats’ Nicola Roberts (#26) was one of the key contributors to the victory, scoring a critical goal.

For the Pokes, Zoey Brown (#2) managed to slip one past McConnell, scoring their lone goal for the night. Despite the loss, the Pokes showed a commendable effort and will be looking to bounce back in their next game.
