The Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious in a thrilling game against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The game ended with a score of Pokes 1 – Bobcats 4, with the Bobcats showcasing their superior skills and strategy on the ice.

The Pokes had a total of 55 shots, but the Bobcats’ strong defense and exceptional goaltending by Reese Mcconnell, who saved 54 out of 55 shots, kept the Pokes’ score to a minimum. On the other hand, the Bobcats made the most of their 35 shots. Despite the Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, saving 31 shots, the Bobcats managed to secure four goals.

The powerplay for both teams was a little lackluster, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats slightly better at 0/4. This game was not about powerplay conversions but about the teams’ ability to capitalize on their opportunities.

Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts and Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown each scored a goal, contributing to the final score. It was a game of strong defenses and even stronger offenses.

Looking ahead, the Bobcats’ next game is at home against the University of Utah. The game will take place on Friday, February 20, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. The Bobcats will be looking to continue their winning streak and put on another exciting performance for their fans.

Stay tuned for more updates and let’s cheer on our Bobcats as they continue to make us proud!
