Last night at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes with a final score of 7-1.

The game was dominated by the Antelopes who managed a staggering 64 shots against the Bobcats’ 19. Despite the efforts of Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, who made an impressive 57 saves, the Antelopes’ offensive pressure was relentless.

The Antelopes’ powerplay was successful 1 out of 3 times, while the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.

Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a solid game, facing 19 shots and making 18 saves. The star of the night, however, was Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who netted an impressive hat trick.

For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder was the lone goal scorer.

The Bobcats will be looking to bounce back from this loss in their next game. Despite the tough night, the team’s spirit remains unbroken. As always, we’ll be there to bring you all the action.
