In an intense game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats were defeated by the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2. The match, held on February 20, 2026, saw the Utes dominate the ice with 38 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 31.
Despite their best efforts, the Bobcats were unable to capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities, while the Utes didn’t have any. The goalies for both teams put up a commendable fight. Utes’ Miranda De Antunano faced 31 shots, saving 29, while Bobcats’ Reese McConnell was kept busy with 38 shots, managing to save 33.
