The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice last night, with a decisive 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The game took place at Haynes Pavilion on February 7th, 2026, and it was a night to remember for the Bobcats.
Despite the Pokes having a total of 55 shots against the Bobcats’ 35, the Bobcats were able to capitalize on their opportunities. The Pokes’ powerplay was unsuccessful, going 0/3, while the Bobcats also struggled on the powerplay, going 0/4.
Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, had a busy night with 35 shots against him, managing to save 31. On the other side of the ice, Bobcats’ goalie Reese Mcconnell had an impressive performance, saving 54 out of 55 shots.
Scoring for the Pokes was #2 Zoey Brown, who netted their only goal of the game. The Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts also found the back of the net, contributing to the Bobcats’ victory.
