The Montana State University Bobcats showed their dominance on the ice last night in a thrilling game against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The final score was Pokes 1 – Bobcats 4, marking a significant victory for the Bobcats.
Despite the Pokes outshooting the Bobcats 55 to 35, the Bobcats were able to hold their ground and secure the win. Both teams struggled on the powerplay, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats slightly behind at 0/4.
The Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, faced 35 shots and made 31 saves. On the other side, the Bobcats’ Reese McConnell had an impressive night, facing a massive 55 shots and making 54 saves.
In terms of scoring, Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown and Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts each contributed a goal to their respective teams.
