In an exhilarating game that took place at Haynes Pavilion, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a decisive victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The final score read Pokes 1 – Bobcats 4, marking a significant win for the Bobcats.
Despite the Pokes taking an impressive 55 shots, they were only able to net one goal, credited to #2 Zoey Brown. Bobcats, on the other hand, took 35 shots and managed to score four times, with #26 Nicola Roberts contributing one of those goals.
Both teams had their chances on the powerplay, but neither could capitalize. The Pokes went 0/3 and the Bobcats went 0/4. The Bobcats’ goalkeeper, Reese Mcconnell, had an outstanding game, making 54 saves out of 55 shots. The Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, saved 31 out of 35 shots.
