The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an impressive performance last night, securing a 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The game, which took place at Haynes Pavilion, saw the Bobcats outscore the Pokes despite having fewer shots on goal.

The Pokes came out strong, hammering 55 shots towards the Bobcats’ net. However, Bobcats’ goalie Reese McConnell was in top form, making an astounding 54 saves out of 55 shots. On the other hand, the Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, was able to save only 31 out of 35 shots.

The Bobcats’ powerplay was not as effective as they would have liked, with the team failing to capitalize on any of their four powerplay opportunities. Similarly, the Pokes also struggled with their powerplay, failing to score in all three attempts.

In terms of individual performances, Nicola Roberts of the Bobcats and Zoey Brown of the Pokes each scored a goal. Roberts’ goal was instrumental in setting the tone for the Bobcats’ victory.

Looking ahead, the Bobcats will be playing their next game at home against the University of Utah on Friday, February 20th. The match will take place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. After their victory over the Pokes, the Bobcats will be looking to carry this momentum into their upcoming game.
