The Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious in a thrilling hockey game against the University of Wyoming Pokes, with a final score of 4-1. The game took place on February 7th, 2026, at the Haynes Pavilion, and the Bobcats proved their mettle once again.

Despite the Pokes having a higher shot count of 55 compared to the Bobcats’ 35, the Bobcats showcased superior conversion, turning their shots into goals more effectively. Neither team managed to capitalize on their powerplays, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4.
