In an electrifying hockey match at Haynes Pavilion, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a triumphant 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. Despite the Pokes outshooting the Bobcats 55 to 35, the Bobcats demonstrated superior precision and skill, securing the win.

The Pokes, despite their aggressive offensive play, were unable to capitalize on their three powerplay opportunities. The Bobcats also failed to score on their four powerplay chances, indicating a strong defensive game from both teams.

In the net, Pokes goalie Pudgie Sabinash faced 35 shots, making 31 saves. On the other side, Bobcats’ Reese McConnell had an outstanding game, stopping 54 out of 55 shots, a performance that undoubtedly contributed to the Bobcats’ victory.
